Privacy Policy

At Haris Law Solicitors, we prioritise protecting the privacy of our website visitors and clients. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard personal information obtained through our website or other forms of communication, such as phone and email.

It should be noted that if you are a client of our firm, we may process more personal data and handle a wider range of privacy issues, which will be discussed in further detail during the engagement process.

When you provide personal information, such as your name and email address, through our website forms, you consent to us contacting you regarding the information requested.

We use the personal data provided for various purposes, such as communicating with you, monitoring website trends, and operating our business more efficiently. For example, we may use your contact information to respond to inquiries made through online forms, use Google Analytics to aggregate website traffic and monitor usage, and seek feedback to improve our service.

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we are required to disclose the lawful reason for processing your personal data. In the case of communicating with you in response to an inquiry, we rely on the legitimate interest basis.

If you provide personal data about other individuals, such as family members or associates, it is important to note that you must have the authority to disclose this information and that all data should be complete, accurate, and up to date.

We store personal data for a maximum of 90 days, after which it is automatically erased. We take the security of your personal data seriously and hold it on secure servers within the European Economic Area (EEA).

We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard the data from unauthorized access, and where possible, identifiable information is encrypted or minimised.

If you have any questions or complaints about our privacy policy, please contact us directly. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) for privacy-related issues.

Additionally, we use Google Analytics to monitor website usage and make improvements. We pass your IP address (but no other information) to Google, which is used to prepare site usage reports for us, but may also be shared with other Google services. Google may also use the data collected to personalize and contextualize the ads of its own advertising network.
